mymind is lovely to look at and quiet by design. If you want it to answer questions, file things properly, or lay work out on a board, these are the six worth a look.

People rarely leave mymind because it is bad. It is one of the nicest things to look at in this category. They leave because they want something it does not set out to do, so the useful question is what you are missing, not which app is best.
One thing first, since we make one of these. mymind has three plans on sale: The Bookmarker at $4.99 a month with no AI features, Student of Life at $7.99, and Mastermind at $12.99 or $129 a year. It does use AI, for tagging and summaries. What its site does not offer is a way to ask your library a question.

If you want answers: Dissect
Dissect keeps the same habit, saving without filing, and adds the part mymind leaves out. It transcribes video and audio, reads the text in images and PDFs, and answers questions from your own library with the source attached. You can save from WhatsApp or an Instagram DM as well as the browser.
Where it falls short: it is not as beautiful as mymind, and it is a younger product. If the calm of the grid is why you use mymind, Dissect will feel busier. There is no native phone app yet either, so on iPhone you use it in the browser or send things in by DM.
If you want folders: Raindrop.io
Raindrop is the opposite philosophy. You get collections, nesting, tags and a web archive that keeps a copy of a page after it disappears. Pro adds full-text search and an AI assistant. If you liked mymind's calm but always wanted more control, start here, and accept that the filing is yours to do.
If it was really a moodboard: Milanote
A lot of people use mymind to collect visual references. Milanote is built for that job, with boards first, so you can lay work out rather than only collect it.
If saves should turn into work: Notion
If a saved thing is the start of a document, a plan or a project, Notion fits better than any bookmark tool. It will not read your saves for you, and you will build the structure yourself. We compare the two in Dissect vs Notion.
If you study from what you save: Recall
Recall shares the idea that saving should mean reading, and it is built around learning from material. Plus is $10 a month and Max is $38, both billed yearly, and the free plan is limited.
If you read long things: Readwise Reader
If most of what you keep is long articles, newsletters and PDFs that you highlight, Reader is the strongest tool here. It is $7.99 a month billed yearly, or $9.99 with Highlights, and there is no permanent free tier.
When to stay on mymind
Stay if the design is the point, and you browse your saves more than you search them. Nothing else here has the same feel. If you want the two side by side, read Dissect vs mymind.
